He is using his covid year. He started some games earlier in his ISU career and then was a backup the last year or two. I'm not sure if he is a starter for Virginia.
Yeah, I think that Purchase and Tampa started every game last year. Unless one of them was out with an injury for a game or two. And then Porter was the next guy in. Kyle played a lot, but he was really our 4th CB.

He started some the year before Tampa got here.

I saw on the Drake fan board that San Diego is dealing with a hazing incident during fall camp. One-half of the roster is involved and facing suspensions (I didn't see for how long nor a list of players). This could be why Re-al did not see the field.

The legend of Joe Scates. I had high hopes for him and if would have panned out it would have been nice to have him right now.

If he wouldn’t have been so hell bent on being a QB, he would have made one hell of a WR for ISU with his speed and athleticism. It’s really a shame because I think he cost himself a future in football.

Totally agree and everyone on this site was saying the exact same thing back then. Btw is this dude on the Jess Settles college program where you just get to keep playing every year?

Maybe he will do well enough this season to earn a spot in one of those collegiate all-star games and get picked up as an undrafted free agent somewhere. But yeah, moving to WR early in his career would have been the wise move.
