This, right now it is a flawless system, and an honor to be invited. Keep it that way.
That actually doesn't sound like a bad idea. It would improve the way people look at it.. I would probably watch it a lot more.
Terrible idea. They can suggest this, but can somehow justify a completely messed up system like the BCS to decide their "champion". Get real. Take 96 teams, and the first round will be a joke.
That could be kind of cool, but wouldn't it mean they'd have to play the entire NIT before the NCAA could even start? That part would not be cool.
So does that mean all the teams from the "power" conferences would get in with that many slots to fill? I think McD could make it, if so!
terrible idea, for the same reason I hate the teams that complain about not making the tourny now. Is there really any team that doesn't make it that really could win it all? No. I realize it is all about the money and that would be the only reason they would do this which I guess in there eyes it is a good idea but in terms of finding a champion if they aren't in the first 65 they aren't going to win it anyway.
