Favorite moment against the Jayhawks?

Kansas has one of the most storied dynasties in college basketball. They've been nearly unbeatable in the past decade, especially at home, where it's common for them to go undefeated over the course of a year.

I was looking back at Iowa State's games against Kansas over the past 15-20 years. Most of them are not pretty. But a select few of them are, and they are some of my favorite games in Cyclone history.

I could list all the great games, but I won't spoil the fun. Please share your favorite memory from a game against Kansas.

I'll go first: Kantrail Horton hitting an ungodly long three-pointer he should not have taken (if you watched the game you'll remember what I'm talking about) in #14 Iowa State's 79-77 upset win of #5 Kansas at Allen Fieldhouse on Feb. 5, 2001.

That website lets you browse through a game-by-game history of ISU-KU match-ups. At one point, from 1999 to 2001, ISU won five games in a row (!) against Kansas. I don't know this for a fact but there is no way any other team has done that in the past two decades.

Personally I preferred Fizer's turn around jumper, or just generally Tinsley owning their pg.

Also Jacy's 3 which came out of nowhere.

Last year, Babb's 3 to clinch it. That was pretty awesome. Best basketball game I've ever been to easily. That factors into it

Every time we beat them. On a specific note, when we beat them in 2005 with Stinson. I love beating Kansas. I just went to their Scout board and most of them think we suck. One guy had us finishing 6-12. Hopefully my new favorite moment will be Wednesday January 9th.

Also a good one, but as I remember, KU wasn't that outstanding in the regular season. OU was the bad-*** on the block but couldn't beat Kansas a third time in the championship game. Awesome year for the Big 8 that year.
