Bridgewater is a miss but Sanchez is mixed result?
Maybe the record in the playoffs is the difference? Feels like they're splitting hairs

I mean Sanchez lead the jets to 2 conference championship appearances so that, although his run game and defense kinda carried him there

Yeah kind of the poor man's Flacco/Diller as a comp.

This was a pretty fascinating piece. I hope they go round by round and do an entire series on it.

I have been to one NFL Playoff Game,
and Sanchez was the winning QB.
King of the Hill in my book!

Interesting article about the last 15 years of first round quarterback picks in the NFL.

The hit rate is pretty low, which suggests that it's mostly just a crapshoot.

You maybe have what 6 Super Bowl winners on that list (too lazy to confirm). A couple more may (besides the ones on it that have) win the Super Bowl still but that just goes to show you how tough it is… and maybe that picking a superbowl winning qb doesn’t have to be in the first round.

I’m obviously not a gym but if I were starting a team from scratch, I’d be blowing my first four or so picks on o line, d line and dbacks. You can find talent elsewhere in the draft.

Tannehill listed as a Miss was an interesting call. Has had a fairly long and moderately successful career as a game manager.

If Purdy balls out like we think he can next season, I think you'll see a number of teams try to replicate that. I'm not convinced it's doable outside Kyle Shanahan's offense, but it would be interesting to see how it plays out.

Agreed. Give me a nasty center like Creed Humphrey, should start for a decade.

Think a lot of his career is benefit having a ridiculously good rB in Henry and a good o line on his team and the coaches running play action well.
