From the Cyclones.com article:

At the end of the first day’s competition, Iowa State is tied with the Hawkeyes for the team lead with 33 points. The Hawks have six wrestlers in the championship bracket heading into Friday’s quarterfinals and three in consolation action. ISU has five wrestlers in the championship bracket and five wrestling back. Ohio State is third with 30 points, Nebraska is fourth with 24 and Edinboro fifth at 22 ½.

Big, big matches on both sides today. Varner and Zabriskie need to keep up their good work. Sanderson somehow upsetting Burroughs would be possibly the biggest upset so far. Fanthorpe has a tough draw vs. Kennedy as well.

On the Iowa side, Erekson vs. Ellis is a big match and an upset there would not help our chances in the slightest.

I think these need to be switched. Iowa only brought 9 to the meet.
