Friday OT #3 - I Got A Little Change In My Pocket...

I didn't purchase them, I actually stole them from a Shopco because my parent's would let me get parental advisory cd's. But Sublime - Sublime and that first big 3rd Eye Blind record.

I did have a few cassettes before that but I'm not sure where I got them. TLC - Crazy Sexy Cool from my aunt, and Skee-Lo I remember having for cassette. We did A TON of homemade radio stations though recording stuff off the radio. I need to transfer those to digital sometime.

Dire Straits - "Love Over Gold" on LP. 2 songs on 1 side, 3 on the the 2nd side. Totally worth it for the 14+ minutes of Telegraph Road.

And then Columbia House came out and all hell broke loose on the acquiring CDs front.

After doing some research on wikipedia I learned that they were offered the song "Bye Bye Bye" and turned it down, those nimrods.

I copied tons of my older siblings music so I had a significant dubbed collection before I ever bought anything. I'm pretty sure this was my first cassette I bought.

I do have one that I probably regret looking back, the All-4-One CD. Although the bomb was a great song but then, lots of sex talk.

The second CD anyone ever gave me was Styx's greatest hits, because I loved them!
