Getting a Jersey Retired question

Do you have to graduate from Iowa State? I know Fizer and Tinsley deserve to have them retired. Just not sure if you have to graduate. Craig would deserve that but if he does not graduate I am not sure if he can. Anyone know?

I wouldn't think that is required to graduate from ISU to have a jersey retired but I think it is a little hasty to think that Brackins should have his jersey retired.
