Old Chicago is definitely closed. Walking from there is going to be about 10-15 mins including some uphill walking.
Yeah, walking from there was never an option for us. I'm thinking, if we go, we'll park at a restaurant and Uber/Lyft there. Do they still have the train?

Nvm, I see they shut it down.

Going to our first game in CHA. How early do we need to get there to find a handicap parking spot (looks like they are in lot 40?) How bad is traffic before? Best place to grab a bite/drink before (probably be short on time)?

Sorry if wrong forum for this question.

Please don't make noise in that place. It really bothers the locals in that arena.

The 3-4 games I have gone to, we always end up parking way back by MidWestOne Bank on 1st Ave and walking the cold, dark trail. It usually sucks (especially since I don't think I have seen ISU win in CHA-thus I am not going this year).

Given average age at their games consider trading Viagra for better parking.

Parking is bad. If you have seats near the court or halfway up, good luck getting anything at halftime. The whole place is a dismal disappointing experience.

They built it for Lute, he then left (don’t think he coached an Iowa team at Carver), and apparently didn’t expect fans to attend due to the lack of parking for said new arena. At least Hilton/JTS were built with the hope of fans attending.
