Very favorable switch in 2024 to avoid USC.

A lot of Michigan State and Northwestern for the next 3 years is a nice draw.

2 of their 3 protected rivals being bad is a huge advantage. We'll see if Rhule can change that in years to come.

I was going to ask, how does protected rivals work in this new setup.

Was thinking the same thing. Pretty favorable schedules unless Rhule and Rowboat get things rolling.

Maybe Iowa can win a game in the Rose Bowl next year for the first time in my lifetime. I might make that trip.

Iowa is the luckiest team in the history if EVER!!!

What a joke, they get to get to play at least 4 Big 10 West games and never have more than 3 hard games in a season... Almost everyone has 4 in a season

2024: Ohio State, Washington that is it..
2025: USC, Oregon, PSU
2026: Michigan, Wash, OSU (Hardest season)
2027: Oregon, Mich, USC
2028: PSU, USC (What a joke this season is)

Let's compare to Wisconsin:

2024: USC, Oregon, PSU
2025: Mich, Oregon, Wash, and OSU (BRUTAL)
2026: PSU, USC
2027: USC, PSU
2028: Mich, OSU, Oregon

Possibly, one thing with UCLA is they will probably be the only school who has their QB returning of the 4 Pac 12 teams joining. 5 star Frosh this year Dante Moore

I know several Minnesota friends from my days at ISU.. They do not consider Iowa as a rival. They only care about Wisconsin. What kind of blackmail does KKKirk have on the B1G scheduling team..
It’s a tradition like no other - it’s the famous “Metrodome Bathroom Sex” trophy game

Looks like Iowa may still have the protected rivarlies.

How in the hell can the Big 12 get these out so quick when the Big 12 will wait until May of next year to announce just our 2024 schedule.

Maybe it was somewhat easy because it was already made and they just had to plug in oregon/washington.
