Newell-Fonda has been to the championship game 9 times in the last 12 seasons, but are under .500 in getting the big hardware (4-5).

North Linn beat Newell-Fonda 67-51 for the 1A title. Announcers said the leading scorer for North Linn, Kamryn Kurt (?) will study Kinesiology at ISU next year, and the program will love her. Is she walking on the WBB team?
