1. Does anyone know how to stream the Valley boys game tonight?

2. Is it me or does the richest most successful athletic department in the state have the worst streaming options out there? Why can't I watch games and when I do its some generic youtube feed with no announcers?

PS - I realize some Valley games get streamed but man everytime we try and watch...nothing.

You have to pay for playoff games … its dumb.

With the sub state finals at neutral sites Im now wondering if you can even get a stream to pay for.

I'll rub it in a bit more. I noticed that Johnston has their own live stream on YouTube this year. They were even showing their JV girls games.

This is part of the reason why I struggle with the boys athletic associations approach to television. There are so many ways to make live sports content accessible. In this case, even a caveman can do it!

Frustrating, I have streamed Johnston home games free all year until the other day when I would have had to pay.

The coach at Waukee has done a phenomenal over the past three years. They were left with nothing when the Waukee schools split; she has improved yearly. To get them to state from where they started is pretty significant. Their four losses this year are twice to both Johnston and Dowling Catholic.

Cousins. Jaime I believe is at Liberty now and her brother Jordan I think an assistant back at Linn-Mar. A lot of basketball in the family

Looks like it was 41-20 and it did not get better from there for Gilbert. Only 5 pts in each of the last 2 quarters. Ended 68-30.

Last night there were two boys substate games played in the arena in downtown Cedar Rapids. The biggest complaint was that there was no streaming of the games. The question is when games are played at a neutral site does that site/school hosting the game have to offer streaming to begin with? It would be nice if they would but it's not required,that's just my two cents worth.

Waverly-Shell Rock beat Sioux Center by 4.

Sioux Center won 3A last year, so to get nudged up to 4A and still make state is a good accomplishment.

Some schools have the motion cameras that they can just flip on and stream through their platform of choice. Many others have stations that will stream them but they have to pay the state money to do it.
