Looks like on HR that they are contacting at least 1 ISU commit. I assume its probably Bofelli, but maybe Lenz. All the more reason to get a coach so we can keep this from happening, although im sure its happened to all of our recruits in some sort.

Sorry for adding another thread. :elvis:

My guess it would be the olineman from Bettendorf.

I agree though. We do need to get a coach locked up fast.

It was actually Lichtenberg. This surprised me as he's probably the most solid commit ISU has (being a double parent legacy). Iowa will probably go after Boffeli too.

Well obviously nobody wants to do anything hastily. I was just more referring to not getting turned down by several people which slows up the process.

Didn't Pollard say today that the rest of the coaching staff is still working for ISU? They could very well earn their paycheck simply by keeping the team and recruits in the fold.

I'm sure ISU will lose a recruit or two, but for the most part from what I've been reading online everybody seems to be pretty solid in their commitment. If it's on the internet it must be true right?

Wouldn't it be a good first step for Iowa to offer this kid a scholorship (which Iowa hasn't) before trying to take him away from ISU?
