I never will get why some people have a problem with other fan base expectation. Like last year isu football. Preseason picks of 8 wins, and mega meltdowns by mid season.

Of course iowa fans were taking pleasure in the deflation of the isu fan base so perhaps that's karma.

didn't really mean it as an inflated expectation of a fan base. i just meant that it probably hurts more for iowa basketball fans this season than how bad it will hurt me for isu football season 2014. iowa was actually expected to be good outside of the fan base. i thought they would be good. they were good for a while. just a brutal collapse to what started with such promise. just harder to swallow with high and realistic expectations.
