Is Dekkers our man next year?

Dekkers reminds me a lot of Joel Lanning. A bruising runner with a laser arm but lacks accuracy and doesn’t seem like he has a great feel for the position.

That drive took multiple 4th down situations, a fake punt, and miracle catch by Breece… he will be fine and his play was quite admirable given the situation but that wasn’t exactly a world beater to keep your starter on the bench IMO.

Exactly. Not sure how anyone could watch Purdy's last two drives and Dekkers two drives and conclude that Dekkers was the way to go in the 4th quarter. It was much easier to move the ball with Purdy.

He missed him, but Allen was not scoring there.

I would need to see him in real time over a few games before comparing him to anyone or thinking about what he can really do.
