I will allow it! LOL, as if anyone listens to me.

Welcome Conrad! Even though you are from KU (Hehe). Hope you enjoy your stay in Ames. And good luck with the switch back to BB!

I am ok with a walk on who actually looks like a basketball player. No offense to Carter Booth, Eric Steyer and Nate Schuster
Agree 100%. No offense intended, but I said before - Prohm had some of the worst walkons I have ever seen. I never figured that out, other than Steyer. Occasionally you get a walk on that turns into a game contributor. Most are there for practice.

Yeah, I don't remember any real great ones for Prohm. Nate Jenkins played some out of necessity, and I think transferred to play D1 ball somewhere else. Hoiberg had a couple good ones in Kourtlin Jackson and Jordan Ashton who played themselves on to scholarships at their next stops. It is pretty rare anymore though.

Bubu Palo was pretty good, until his little misstep.

Steven Leath...the gift that keeps on giving.

It's been quite a few years now so I could be misremembering, but since they dismissed him so late Bubu's scholarship was used up for the school year. We couldn't go after a mid year transfer.

So our football coach likes to recruit basketball players and now our basketball coach is recruiting football players. Go cyclones, welcome Conrad
The best I could find was his junior year basketball highlights. My guess is he did not play basketball as a senior given he was an early enrollee at KU.

From the highlights he appears to have decent court vision but could use some work on his offensive game. The highlights showed a few blocks but not a lot of other defensive highlights.

Can anyone find his junior year basketball stats?

Definitely lacks dynamics but you don't have to be flashy to be effective.
