Back to the team of the last few years, where rather than compete with slightly better squads we just seem to get trampled.

I think the person we miss the most from previous teams in Kaylee Manns. The setter is the QB of volleyball, not only was she an outstanding setter and defender, she was the heart of the team.

I 100% agree. We have great hitters but our setter is not making intelligent decisions. She sets the hitters where double blocks are already in place in front of them. There is no element of surprise in our setting this year.

It seemed like we just gave up at the end. Nebraska is not a very good team compared to the past. Iowa State really needs a better setter.
