I've been watching replays the last couple weeks instead of having cardiac issues watching live.

The Houston game is playing with house money though so I'll watch it. I actually get more nervous over home games than on the road.
No you don’t. You don’t change anything during a streak. Dahliaclone is going to have a bad feeling about this one, I’m not changing my underwear and my son and I are not communicating before the game.

This will be the absolute toughest game we play all year.

Not most important, and yes….it is VERY important, but certainly the toughest.

No matter who or when we play in the NCAA tournament.

It's a monumental game. Not season defining but it's been quite some time since ISU's been in this kind of position.

And when it's done this group will undoubtedly fly around in each game after and we'll see how they end up.

I expect it’s going to be a game that ref’s will have to have a quick whistle early or it could get out of hand. It’s a brass knuckle big boy battle type game between similar style teams. Hope they call it both ways and our FT shooting is on.

Contain she shead and rebound, drive to the rim to get bigs into foul trouble. Just slow them down and grind it out.

The last four games our average Torvik AdjDE was 85. That was against the 19th, 28th, 82nd, and 11th ranked offenses.

Houston's last four games AdjDE was 94.65 while playing against the 30th, 136th, 82nd, and 19th ranked offenses.

Our defense has been out performing Houston's recently.

I'm really happy about our play the last four games. Defense has been incredible. Offense good, but has it's lulls. Had we beaten Baylor I do believe that would've been 6 straight wins.

I actually think we can knock off Houston Monday at their house. HOUSTON IS NOT UNDISCIPLINED. But offensively are extremely proficient. Going to take a great game from us on both sides of the ball but I do believe we can do it.

West Virginia at home kind of feels like a conference trap game to me. They attack on defense and press which has been the M.O. for years. Hope I'm wrong. Then I think we clobber Oklahoma in payback with our conference opener.

Gilbert the last 8 games: 16.5 pts/game 6 rebounds 3 assists 43% from 3. ISU’s record is 7-1. If he keeps it up and we keep winning, he should be in the conversation for player of the year in the big 12.

I'm too lazy and bad at maths...what has Curtis Jones been like in that time frame?

He's just seemed to be solid if not exceptional everywhere.
