ISU Player in Transfer Portal

The list I saw counted older transfers as being “in the portal”. As in, Zeb Nolan’s was there. That might be why it’s not causing much chatter.

I don’t think Alex would make a post if it was just for Zeb. I think he used the “transfer portal” to break the news.

Alex reported a new player this week.
Might not be a huge loss if he does end up transferring.

Let just get used to the idea, every school, including ISU, is going to be subject to players putting their name into the portal. It allows them to talk to other schools, it allows them to stay put. I did hear on ESPN radio some guy said however that once a kid puts his name into the portal, the school is free to cut off his scholarship. So, if that is true, you would think that if a kid puts his name in, he must want to leave or be ready to leave.
