I say this tongue in cheek, but how long will the SEC put up with Mizzou (462K)? Their numbers are woof...Colorado too (366K)...for reference sake, Kansas, last in the Big 12, averaged 540K.
Wouldn't be surprised if Colorado and AZ school numbers go up with a move to the big 12. Newness can breed more interest/excitement

I grew up in Sioux City and have been going to ISU games since the mid-80s. I was one of two ISU fans in a sea of Iowa and Nebraska fans growing up. You couldn't buy ISU gear. ISU was NEVER on TV.

Fast forward to now. I don't know if you've noticed but the ISU fanbase is young. There are kids everywhere. I'm talking infants to middle school to high school age. Pollard and the athletic department have been fantastic getting the family involved. Now look at the Iowa fan base and Nebraska fan base. Old. So...old. When it comes to TV execs and conference commissioners, it goes noticed. Keep bringing your kids to tailgate tours and games. Bring your grandkids. Things are looking bright, I promise you.

This part made me laugh a little considering the B1G's latest move:

27. Iowa State — 1.219M
28. Cincinnati — 1.216M
29. UCLA — 1.18M
30. Baylor — 1.16M
31. Illinois — 1.13M
32. USC Southern Cal — 1.11M
