Jamie Dixon hired by TCU

I think he will have a hard time. All his recruiting is in the northeast, TCU has no fan support, and no legacy. Hope he is up for the challenge.
wow, great hire. I've always been a big Jamie Dixon fan. Before we hired Prohm, I was hoping he would be our "secret big name" candidate
Scott Drew and Art Briles dont seem to have issues recruiting to a Texas school with no fan support or legacy
He will do great. New arena, plenty of money to support him, and in Texas. Put all the excuses you want out there but he can bring in east coast guys to play at TCU. This sucks for ISU and the rest of the Big 12.
Man, if he can get it going at TCU and OSU hires somebody competent to replace Ford, this league is going to become even more of a grind.
Assuming that OSU gets a good one, I think we'll have a pretty elite set of coaches across the league. Very good hire for them. I still think it'll take a couple years (see Tubby) to get them up to par, and maybe more. Tough gig, but very good coach.
I hope Fran doesn't bolt for the coast
Because if you're looking for the guy to get you over the tournament hump and stop being a disappointment late in the season, you think of Fran McCaffrey.
One more strong coach in the league.
Additionally, on KC sports radio (and through a few of my K-State friends) there's been some increased chatter about KSU dumping Weber and making a push for Underwood before OSU throws money at him. Underwood going to one of those two could bring them back to life pretty quickly IMO.
