Sorry if it's been mentioned, but direct flights from O'Hare to Dublin are between $500-$650 for dates in late August.

Some of my sons saw them in MetLife last summer. Looks like their US games this year are probably when you are in Europe.
Wow, that is really good. I think we will pull the trigger on the 3 day hotel/ticket package. I get that it is overpriced, but it is nice not to worry about the Dublin end and get to hang out with Cyclone fans. But we plan to stay a week and do London and Manchester/Liverpool for another 4-6 days and we will plan that ourselves via AirBnB. Was planning on flying into London, but this may change our minds.
ACC always has a Labor Day night game but smart of FSU to lock that in coming off a return from Dublin
Yes, on Aer Lingus. Includes a standard carry-on. I played with the Google Flights calendar last night and got Wednesday to Wednesday for $538. That is smoking for direct flights.
Just checked and Tuesday to Tuesday is $512. Even American non-stop for $655 on the same days is strong.
Unfortunately if we delay our game vs. South Dakota a day or two after returning from Ireland, that just means a short week before the Cy-Hawk Game.
We're going to London. Also have a friend that lives in Scotland, so may visit her.
FSU and Georgia tech both are this year after playing in Ireland week 0

Nebraska played week 0 and week 1 in 2022 but NW had week 1 off
so seems to be team by team
FSU is not playing till labor day though. So there's 2 extra days.
We tend to under performed v. Lesser teams early so I personally wouldn't.
a FCS game late in the season would be a nice change of pace so maybe USD and ISU can work that out
