I just saw on the Cyclones official website that he is listed at 6'6'' 250. There's big, and then there's Kayden Fish big. 6'6'' 250 as an 18 year old Freshman is insane! Do we know if it's good weight? For reference, Robert Jones is also 250 lbs. At 6'10''.

Side note, but Curtis Jones has shrank an inch and lost 5 pounds since he left Buffalo. Currently listed at 6'4 175

Here's video from the end of March. Can't imagine he's all that much different between then and now. You be the judge. He's #4

No way we can know if it is "good weight" today but like most High School players I am sure there is some baby fat that can be improved on.
I am fully confident that the workout regimen the staff will put the entire team through will turn it into good weight soon enough.

CW said in the podcast last week I think that he definitely looks the part. I would imagine that means he's not a lard ass.

Big strong legs! Lots of the younger guys, their legs look like chopsticks. Mr. Fish looks like he knows his way around a squat machine... Maybe a Rico Gathers type?

On the CW pod with Nate Schmidt, he mentioned that when Hasan Ward got to campus last fall he was 6'9" and 198 lb

I'd be surprised if Fish doesnt have more of a Niang-type freshman body. Hard to imagine an 18 year old is under 10% bodyfat at 6'6 and 250 pounds. Those are like professional bodybuilder numbers

It doesn't appear to be bad weight. He looks pretty solid. Almost looks like a Royce White-type build, or at least the potential to get to that point as an upperclassmen. No idea about his game, but from this video it seems like he may not be super bouncy or fleet of foot. Saw him get worked by a much smaller white kid in the paint.

If he is actually any good though, perhaps he works as a small ball 5 down the road?

He's got wide hips. Built like a football player.
Yeah, I like the Rico Gathers comp a few posts up. I also see him as a slightly taller Mark Vital perhaps. Would love it he embodies the playing style of either of those guys as well.

There is a lot of room between Niangs freshman body and 10% body fat. Niang as a freshman was probably in the upper 20s.
