Awesome news! Very happy for Kayden - grind for another year and 2026 will have playing time for him.

It is absolutely amazing in the transfer era to have the roster done and set on 4/23 - and have it be as high quality and deep as this one is. Just another masterful job by TJ and crew.

My immediate thought when I saw that was that he didn't get a lot of, well, nibbles in the market. Pure speculation. But a decent play on words.

If I were Fish, I'd ask for a regular redshirt to go with his medical one because that is one deep front court that TJ and company have put together.

I hope this serves as a good example of why it is important not to trash an athlete for entering the portal. Not saying anyone has in this case, just for the future. We typically never know the reason they entered, nor if they will stay there.

A redshirt would make sense. Jefferson has 2 years, Jackson has 2 years, Watson has 2 years. Rock has 4. If everyone sticks around it's going to take a commitment that isn't seen now a days.
