I understand there is a difference, the app has access to GPS data, a phone call does not. However, triangulation of a cell signal should be able to get them within a few hundred feet at least, but if you're only hitting one tower, that's where you could be miles away.If the William Hill betting app can tell to within a foot that I am within the boundaries of the State of Iowa surely the 911 dispatch system should have the technology to determine the exact location of a call.
