There were two close ones to campus where I saw the bolt and heard the thunder nearly simultaneously. Nearly soiled my pants there.

Yea, I only live a couple blocks from campus, and I nearly did that myself.

Holy crap. I thought this thing was almost over with... That is a BIG storm. Break out your galoshes, it's gonna be wet for a long time!
