If Iowa State is available, Liberty Bowl is going to pick them. Id say odds are high we will be in Memphis.

I hesitate to worry/complain about anything, considering we got to bowl eligibility after the way the season started (but here comes the "but") - the possibility of playing Memphis in Liberty again ... sigh.

Memphis being opponent is probably the only way I would NOT go to the game.

WTF is the point of a bowl game that's really an away game? Dumb af. Plus it's already happened to ISU twice!

The last Liberty Bowl against Memphis was one of the best college football atmospheres I've been to. It was basically 50/50 and the environment of a sold out stadium was fun as hell. I'd rather not play Memphis on their home field again but would signup for that over a Shreveport or Phoenix game.

I don't think Memphis fans are as excited this go around. They had a really good team when we played them last time.

There will be less fans from ISU at a redo game vs Memphis. I think 50/50 wouldn’t happen. That 2017 game was the tail end of a magical year and had all that momentum. This year is just different.

On the other hand, you can drive. So it’s affordable for Iowa State fans. There were lots of fans at the first liberty bowl too.

I loved Memphis. And one year they are bound to have good weather.

I get that but man… that stadium sucks so much ass.
