Hey all, I am tired of searching so many different golf course websites searching for golf tournaments each year. Personally my wife and my parents travel around for couples tournaments in the summer. I am hoping to put together a listing here on the first few posts of local golf tournaments. Please, if your local course has some summer events go ahead and post them here and I will work to keep the front page updated. Just post the course and city, and any tournaments going on.

I bet there is a course somewhere close that does a father/son tournament Father's Day weekend.

There is a course in Elma that does one. My father and I golf in it nearly every year.

It is June 19th with a 9 o'clock start this year.

Copper Creek usually has a 4 person scramble the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend.

Saturday July 10th is the Tipton Open at Tipton Country Club by Iowa City. Very well run 9 hole course and a great tournament. Good Prizes, 18 holes guaranteed, top flight plays another 9. Highly recommended for a full day tournament.

There is Mid Iowa Golf Tournaments on the Facebook, but it doesn't get a lot of traffic.

Jewell Golf course seems like they have one every weekend. Next time I’m in there, I’ll take a look at what they have posted and post them in here.
I do know they have a 2 person best shot 8” cup on June 6th. Spots fill up quickly though.

That’s very interesting. Covid is pretty much nonexistent in a golf setting... Is this a private or public course? I assume who ever is running the course just doesn’t want to put anything together/have to deal with any tournaments.
