Man arrested for 2009 murder

A 34-year-old Shenandoah, Iowa, man was charged Wednesday in connection with the 2009 death of his girlfriend.

Weird. You would think the witness interviews and physical evidence would have been collected right after the murder and charges filed back then. I wonder what kind of new evidence made them arrest him now. On a side note, I bet he thought he got away with it after all these years. Psych!

I noticed that too. hard to tell with the angle of the camera shot (feel like I have said that before), but it looks like 6' 6" or so.

I agree with the original poster, pretty weird that he was not charged originally given that he lived with the victim and it occurred at their home. Makes you wonder if he has been talking about the killing to others recently.
