Michigan State quote about the poll

"It's important because we can't take losing. We deal with it enough in our athletics," said Joshua Huber, who claimed to vote 30,000-35,000 times this round.

How much losing do they really deal with? Grrrrr, last time I checked they are very competitive.

Well if Mich State has fans who are going to vote 35,000 times, they definetly deserve to win. Our defense, our fans have a life!

Guess they couldn't get quotes from us? Although not sure we want CF linked up to that so the MSU fans can see all the posts about this either but it would also be a nice way to promote the site too.

5 thousand votes is a pretty big margin of error for one person... Something tells me that if he were actually obsessed enough to be keeping track of his votes, he would have a much more accurate and much less rounded number.

78-22 Cyclones, with 2385 out.

Well we know for next time, we need to promote the hell out of this. Even if it is dorky. We want to be the best dorks out there!

The voting goes for a full week.

In my opinon, this could go a couple of different ways:

The voting is rather slow for the first 6 days and then there is a frantic finish.

OR

Both teams set an early precedent and the voting stays high the entire time.

Geez in a matter of less than 5 minutes the vote total went up by about 600 votes when I refreshed the page. I would bet this poll tops the over 2 million votes casted in the last MSU poll once their fans start up the mass voting methods again.

Don't lay low hoping to lull them into a false sense of security. Make your votes count...as often as lefgally possible. This one's going over 5 million.

Either way... I think someone should talk to the athletic department and have them send out an e-mail or something

I agree. I'd also be curious to know how Iowa State would be doing in this poll if this site didn't exist. My guess is not well.

How about we send someone to this Josh Huber's house and do something to his computer? Or send one of our cheerleader's over to entertain him for awhile and keep his geeky self off of his computer for awhile. That would at least knock off 35,000 or more votes against us.
