Equally big, if not bigger, is the assistant pool raise. That's huge.

Agreed. Head coaching money is at the point where almost anyone at the P5 level has 'set for life' money, so having 'the right' job is as important. But coordinator money is a lot more variable. Hopefully can hold onto as much of the staff as possible.

This is a great day for Iowa State University.

Well-deserved for CMC and Co. He gave us a discount as he could easily have made more if he wanted to, but he wanted to achieve at Iowa State...and it feels great.

Remember CMC’s commitment when asked to spend more on ISU. It’s just the beginning.

So.... hopefully the contract buyout structure remains the same and nobody has pockets that deep.

I totally agree. I love what Coach has done with this team and hope his success continues as a Cyclone for a very long time......But what good is a contract to us when the Elite P5s, with deep pockets, want a proven winner?
