Clearly it is early in his career but he has been able to pull a significant upset on the road at a perennial power program each of his first two years. He really needs to use these games to catapult us into a position to recruit better players than we have been getting in the past because the bottom line is that you win more games with better players.
We ought not forget the sting of the absolute beat-downs we received at the hands of Utah and OU but at least we have some reason for hope and optimism with what we saw at NU last year and UT this year.
Here's to hoping that Rhoads is finally the man to bring ISU into the upper echelons of CFB!!
