Why? If you want a good tenderloin, head on down to B&B at 6th & Hartford for the best in the city.

Smittys on Army Post isn't bad, either.

AGREED! Two best in town, by far. B&B's is an awesome deli shop as well making it the best sandwich shop in town IMO. Plus...its a terrific value!!!

I heard it was a lease thing.

I had B&B's once and they way over-cooked it. I usually get Zack's Killer when I am there. Will have to try the tenderloin again.

I'll have to check out that place. I was confused - thought you were talking about the B and B in Beaverdale, that place with the rooftop patio.
George the Chili king is my usual tenderloin stop.

i can't say i'm happy or sad that the place is closing. i don't want to see any small business close down, but i thought their food was terrible. i don't know why people like their tenderloins, i didn't think it was that good.

I went to Michael's for the 1st time last friday, and thought the tenderloin was great. Bummer that it's closing. To echo others, B&B is the ****. I haven't had the tenderloin, but I'm going to now.

Hey above posters, theres a new Tenderloin in town. Or there is from monday to wednesday from 11 to 7 at the pawn shop parking lot at SE 2nd and Army Post Road. The Townhouse Supper Club in Wellsburg will have their mobile carnival unit for the rest of the summer I guess. This is a serious small town tenderloin, Its the only IPPA winner you will find in Des Moines.

B&B's tenderloin is the best taste wise in my honest opinion...

Jethro's tenderlion though is the most for your money. You get almost 2 full tenderloins in 1 sandwhich.

B&B's is made fresh from real loin meat... Not sure Jethro's is. You can usually taste the difference between the two.
