Really excited for this one and will be my annual trip to Hilton for a dual. Here's what I have.
125 Missouri favored 3 to 0
133 ISU heavily favored 4 to 3
141 ISU favored 7 to 3
149 ISU heavily favored 11 to 3
157 toss up 14 to 3
165 toss up 17 to 3
174 Missouri favored 17 to 6
184 toss up 20 to 6
197 Missouri heavily favored 20 to 10
Hwt toss up 23 to 10

Realistically probably won't win all the tossups but I like our guys.

Do we know about Missouri’s 33? Is he for sure out?

I don’t think we major at 49, and would give 57 and 65 to Mizzou.

Going to be an extremely tight dual.

There could be some weird pins in there. However, Yonger will win. So I feel like it comes down to David’s match (they will undoubtedly start at 74). No one I’d rather have in that spot, regardless of the opponent.

Yeah I think I had 41 and 49 switched. Missouris boring style makes it hard to get bonus. I'd agree, if you set the tossups I had to a 50/50 split it gets real tight and comes down to bonus which is probably more realistic.

I probably like MJ getting Mocco right off the scale too. That seems like best case for him since Mocco’s been out a while.

If MJ puts him on his back out the gate, that could be a wonderful sign for the dual as a whole.

The last thing I read was they were hoping to have Moore (133) back for the Big 12s. He didn't wrestle Friday night against NDSU and they have another match against South Dakota State this afternoon at 2:00p CT (on Flo).

How are the Dakota schools? Since we didn’t have them this year, I haven’t followed them as much. Who do they have to make any noise at Big12s?

Sloan pinned Elam for SDSU to take a 19-15 lead. Missouri won by pinning at heavyweight. Pretty good dual.

So here is a would you rather to think about for Carr vs O’Toole. The way that the matchup has gone assume Carr wins two of three matches, which 2 would you rather see him win

1) last match in hilton
2) big 12 finals match with the 5 time champion title on the line
3) NCAA Finals match

Imo winning 5 of anything is impressive but it's still an asterisk type achievement for obvious reasons. If he wins another NCAA title he will forever be known as a two time champion.

There are no asterisks in record books and he may be the only 5x Big 12 Champ ever. Of course, a National Championship is more prestigious and I’m sure he would give up his 5 Big 12 Championships for another NCAA title. But being a 5x Conference Champion is more impressive than being another 2x NCAA Champion.

I disagree whole heartedly. A Natty is hard enough...a multiple time natty is rarified air and only a select few in our sport have accomplished it. 5x conference champ, though neat, will not carry more or even the same prestige as a 3x national finalist, 2x national champ.

Also, my memory isn't the best so not sure if this applies to any of Carrs early titles, but not long ago the big 12 wasn't a very tough conference tbh. I love how much better it is now.
