Maybe this has been put out there somewhere and I've missed it. I was poking at stats, and pulled up the records page.

Including Saturday's game, looks like Monte is currently 11 short of Tinsley's single season (2000) assist record (244/233).

Of course he'll end up at the top of AST/TO ratio again, holding the top 3 spots.

Also he is currently the single season assists per game leader over Hornacek (1984) by the slimmest of margins (6.85/6.83).

Just another reminder of all the cool, historic stuff we're getting to see with this team this season. The assist stat is great, cause your teammates have to be making shots at a really high rate to even sniff these numbers. Love it.

He's also 14 minutes away from breaking Michael Nurse's record for most minutes played in a season. Monte is currently at 1291 and Nurse's record is 1305.

It was very apparent that Monte's shoulder was bothering him. His 3pt shot was a little flat, which is indicative of his shoulder not rotating properly. He certainly showed he is a tough guy gamer.

I wouldn't say it was as apparent as you are saying.
