If this happened why could the do a weekend event were the drivers raced a Friday night at Knoxville and then a Saturday race at the Iowa Speedway. This in my mind would be an awsome weekend of racing and the towns are only 30 mins apart.

I'd say maybe Friday trucks, Saturday Nationwide....The truck teams don't have the large organizations of the cup teams...to do a dirt race and then a paved in two days would be more than some could support.

you make a good point I really think that these two tracks really need to start working together on race weekends to try and get as many people to both tracks and make as much money for the two community's as possible.
