It will be interesting to see what Fred does with Nebraska now having some momentum.

Nebraska basketball is like if ISU football was still looking for that first bowl win we got 24 years ago.

Doesn't need to be a major bowl, just any minor bowl by one point. They could beat a low seed and it'd still be a win.

What will be funny is if they eventually win a PIG and lose first round. You know they'll count that.

Fred has matched Tim Miles' accomplishment of making the tournament once and getting their doors blown off by a Texas school.

I do think if he sticks around long term he'll win at least one game.
Freddy will get them there eventually.

Have to replace Tomenaga. Their garbage guy Alick is a Sr too.

You’d think with the offensive pace and style they can get a decent PG. Assuming all their guys come back and they can get another scorer they will be solid. Gary, Mast and Williams are pretty good players.

They made the tournament plenty of times. Fred isn't some savior at that school.
Plenty of times? I'm not.saying fred is a God coach, but a case could be made that nebraska bball is the worst big conference program in the history of college bball. Outside of this appearance, nebby has had one ncaa game in the 21st century. Getting there at nebby is a major accomplishment.

It is very nice. And somehow they have always had pretty good crowds even in bad seasons.

Haven't been there, but it's similar to the setup in Omaha.

Newer, state-of-the-art arena downtown within walking distance to bar and restaurant district (and campus in case of Lincoln). Can not only see a game, but make an evening out of it.

What else are you going to do in Nebraska in the winter?
