Hey, I'm looking for a cellphone that I can just buy minutes for without any kind of a contract, but also not with a monthly fee. Kind of like buying straight minutes for the phone. Burner phone type thing. Any suggestions?

Hi. This may be of some help. I have a brother who is challenged in regard to managing his finances. Was locked up in a really expensive contract w T-mobile which he could not afford. When his contract was up, he got a phone and minutes from Cricket. Here in Colorado they have stores all over. His cost were approx $100 for six months unlimited minutes and a flip phone. Also included as much texting as he can use. Also seems like service is usually available out herein the west more than my cell company .
The rate for additional minutes after the six months is at the same rate.
