Nolan has surprised me and others. I didn't know if she could be the heir to our most storied position at Iowa State, but she has definitely held her own. Like CJL says, she doesn't have to try to be Hahn, she just has to be her scrappy, defensive self that is in charge of the back row.

I'm really excited about Nolan. Even this spring I was really against her taking over the reins. She's put in a lot of work on her body and technique. Good to see individual gains like hers. So much potential on this team...but like trump says 'potential doesn't mean jack *****. Still excited about this team.
