Oh, and I can't possibly forget my old man having a few too many Budweisers and wandering down the street looking for Cyclone fans and berating our hok neighbors back in September 1998.

Born in 1970. Used to love Matilda Bay wine coolers. Could get them in a 4-pack of bottles or even in a box with a pull out spout. Colors Light party balls also. Man the 80s/90s were fun.

Those sonsabitches got rid of Zima and party balls.

Not sure why Coors hates America and fun, but they obviously do.

Zima rocked. Please respect my opinion.

The random college white hats. I I know I bought at least 6 of these at the Pro Image in Sioux City.

Mostly "Time in a Bottle" stuff - my kids being little in the 90s, playing N64 with them, taking them to Star Wars, HP, and LOTR movies. They were cute af and they are great adults but I miss them being little.

Also, not having a cell phone. Feel like the world was more real then.

Arcades. Going to Lazer X (previously Aladdins Castle) at Merle Hay or Loco Joe's was freaking amazing. It's fun to go to a retro arcade like up/down now, but it's not the same. Seeing people lined up to challenge each other at Street Fighter II or Mortal Kombat in an arcade was peak 90s.

Born in 92. One thing I really appreciate is being one of the last generations that got to be a true kid. No cell phones, ipads, video games etc. My mom told me to be home when the 6 pm whistle went off for dinner and outside of that just go be outside with the neighborhood kids.
Re the “go outside and just be home for dinner” I kind of wonder if that will be one of those things that each generation says they could do but the current generation can’t/doesn’t. Because I definitely have seen people born in the ‘80s saying that and that people born in the ‘90s can’t relate

Edit: and I still see preteens/teens out riding their bikes with their friends so I can definitely see them saying that when they are older

2nd edit: can’t relate

The old Casey's franchise stores were the best. They all kind of did their own thing and had their own specialties. Also, RIP to the Casey's slush machines. Man we had it good!
