It was the refs fault.

Also hearing from family (wife's side so no judging) that there was numerous water bottles and random trash being thrown onto the field most of the 4th quarter. Even warranted a threat of penalty from the referee.

LOL. Say what you want about the Hawks, but you can always count on them to have that Northwestern or Indiana loss on their resume. Somehow last year they scrapped their way out of it, but now it makes its triumphant return!

Kinda funny...I was at Walmart picking up some munchies when I observed a conversation between two Hok fans. Apparently the one with a dozen Iowa T-shirts in his cart hadn't yet heard the score, because when the other dude told him, he took 10 of them out and tossed 'em on the floor. Not sure why he kept two, but perhaps he's got a painting project...
