They're still not shooting it from 3 as well as they need. Another game to try to get them going before the tourney. I'd love if they got going at a similar clip as the stretch from the end of January thru first part of February.

I don't recall many good looks do that would factor in. KSU was able to cover it well.

I said it elsewhere, but the key to me is for us to get Baylor out of their zone early, as they aren't great at man defense. In Waco, we got inside the zone early and just plain missed the shots, so they stayed in it. Once we finally made them switch, we came back and almost took it from them.

Yep, this is the type of team King should feast on.

Imo the team looked fine last night. The championship game on a Saturday helps so a one or two game burst shouldn't be too bad. I'm more worried about injuries which I guess is similar.

I was in the same boat though. Was just wanting to see ISU figure some things out to get better looks on offense etc. and then as they started to pour it on last night...

If the team wants to win it I want them to win it. Sunday to Thursday is plenty of rest. Another revenge game. Only Big 12 team we didn’t beat. Let’s frickn’ go!

I think the line only being -1.5 for ISU is interesting. I can't think of a reason we aren't favored by more except the cache of named 'Drew' and 'Baylor'

As a rule, betting on your on team is a good way to lose money since you are never objective, but I see really tempting value.

Gawd dammit now I’m sucked in and want to win this again, but I’m not sure it’s in our best interest for ncaa tourney success.
Same here. In my mind it was play well first game but lose would be ok. Now I’m like, play well tonight and a close loss will be ok. But once the game starts, let's go ahead and beat the hell out of Baylor!

Honestly, a good consolation price for losing to Baylor will be that we fall of the 2 seed line in the East and move into the 3 seed in the Midwest, which is a much better draw. I think we have to beat Baylor and Houston to grab the 2 seed in the Midwest over Marquette. That's assuming Marquette loses to either Providence or Uconn,

Shhh. I can't handle a season where the only school we couldn't beat is Baylor. Baylor must be destroyed.

Baylor will be planning on Omaha being in there. Watson will play and won't be planned for. Hits 3 three pointers, scores 14. Milan finally breaks out of his funk, scores 18. But the biggest surprise will be Curtis Jones. Not the best game ever last night, but nails 4 3's, with one being the game winner! Cyclones roll 71-70.

Honestly right now I'm good with Watson staying out and Omaha getting more time.

We got a sense of why he hasn't played (and I think he's been injured) with how raw he is but getting time against legit teams may help.

Would be great if he gets a bucket ot two and jusstarts in 'just playin' ball' mode.

I'm sure Baylor's zone is better than KSU's but when the kitties went zone it didn't phase us.

You don’t want to play Iowa State on a Friday in any sport. Friday November 18th 2011, we adopted the rally puppy Gypsy. Oh yeah, we went on to crush Oklahoma State’s national championship dreams that night.
