Teams have figured out that they are going to double if you drive to the hoop, and we leave the weakside wide open, so our opponents are sending that backside player flying to the hoop and we are giving up layups. We are doing a horrible job with our backside guard helping out there and dropping when the ball is driving.

I wish some of you were old enough to remember road games under Johnny Orr. This is how they went.
We are still a good team and we can strive to be better. We went cold in the second half.

Not gonna win games when you shoot 5-27 from 3 and score 24 points in the 2nd half. This team desperately needs scorers and we have none.

They just had back to back losses against the basement teams in conference. One was a loss by almost 20.

So what? The committee THIS MORNING, knowing those losses, ranked them a 3 seed. What are you missing?

Frustrating second half losses of late, no doubt. Really miss what Williams would have brought to the party. Lipsey matured more as a result, but it's games like these that we need an extra ball handler, and someone who can penetrate. Williams or Green would have been just what the doctor ordered.

Sure. But in some of those games we have tended to collapse mentally when that happens, multiplying the damage. Without that damage, some of those games would have been wins.

It’s easy to look like you make no mistakes when you can mug the driving guard whenever you want and not call a foul.
