?!?!?!?! Bizarre. Clemson not fouling down 5 with 50 seconds to go then Bama turns it over on a terrible pass. Wow.

Woof what a horrible turnover. Just call timeout when you got trapped. Hell you got three of them.

But then an 83% FT shooter for Clemson misses both FTs. Wow.

This "Chef" for Clemson has some eye popping stats when you dig a little, like Georges I think he might even have some success in the NBA as a guy who definitely doesn't fit the normal build/athleticism.

56% FG. 49% from 3. Nearly 10 rebounds a game. 30th in nation but that's in legit conference compared to all 362 teams. Only played 27 minutes per game, makes the rebounds per game even more surprising.

If Alabama wins, they will be the 9th SEC school to go to the Final Four. (Tennessee is attempting to be #10 tomorrow). However, only Kentucky, Florida and Arkansas have made it to the Championship Game.

The other 5 are Auburn, South Carolina, Mississippi State, Georgia and LSU. LSU has been 4 times. The others have only been once.

What is the cutoff for this? If you did Big 12 does ISU 1944 count?

The “non-3,” if I have it right:

Alabama: 2024
Auburn: 2019
Georgia: 1983
LSU: 1953, 1981, 1986, 2006 (“Big Baby” season)
Mississippi State: 1996
South Carolina: 2017
