Self had a lot of really good things about TJ and ISU at his most recent press conference.
Said ISU is probably the most connected team on defense they will have played this year. Says he hopes he can get his team this year to the level ISU and Houston are at on defense because they are both on another level defensively then the rest of the conference.
Said the first word that comes to mind when watching this team is tough and that it’s because they have taken on the personality of TJ and Lipsey.
Said Lipsey and Gilbert are not only good defensively but maybe the best rebounding guards in the conference.
Said they were lucky to score 53 in Ames last year.

Just talked about the game on sportscenter....and my first thought was how grumpy the kittens probably are today about this game.
They are such little brothers to KU and now a growing hate for us, lol. Love it.
