Ott is an All American caliber player, Tucker is a JC transfer. There is a huge difference. Not having Ott in the upcoming games is a much bigger deal.

The season will be judged off far more than this one game. Otherwise last year would have been a success. It wasn't.

Maybe not flip the **** out like pre-teen girls after one loss in 2015? Just a thought...

I might be on board with this post if our 2013-2015 record wasn't sitting at 6-20 - including 2 losses to FCS teams.

Yeah I've lost track of how many times he has got like that after a win. 2004 at PSU the week his Dad died was the first I remember. There have been numerous others. And yes, the game means a great deal to Iowa.

In regards to Iowa vs ISU, ISU looked like the much better team in the 1st half, Iowa in the second. Once Tucker went out, Iowa was able to run the ball. Credit Iowa's walkon WR for making plays and the Iowa staff for noticing Tucker was out and also remembering CPR teams are easy to stop if you focus on defending only 15 yards within the LOS. It is a mystery why after over 6 years opponents do anything other than make ISU go vertical.

So he is an AA against MAC and FCS schools. He is up there with Roth as extremely overrated. Tucker was a bigger impact on the game.

Calling Iowa a "much better team" is a VAST overstatement.

It's actually not bad given that most of the plays either 1) develop slowly in the backfield, or 2) result in a 3-yard pass.
