Dear God Hatton has gone full Clonefan32. Miss a mile right. Miss a mile right again. Follow it up by missing a mile left.

He's going to go from -2 to MC. That's amazing.

Spieth is putting like it’s 2015 and having no issues getting up and down when he misses a green. Thinking we have our most likely challenger for Harman over the weekend…

I won’t believe in Fleetwood’s ability to finish until he actually does. Would be a popular winner if he could pull it off.

Wouldn’t have guessed Harmon to be the one leading the tournament.

Harmon had several miracle scrambles go for him today. No way he keeps that up all tournament. I'd venture to guess a couple above par rounds are coming his way over the weekend. Just a question of whether some of the big names are too far back.

Sounds like me the first half of the round yesterday. Couldn't make clean contact to save my life. Looked like it was my first time out. Back nine I was splitting fairways and throwing darts. No idea why. Damn this game.

Good conditions for those that got started early. Winds are supposed to pick up later

When did The 'British' Open become 'The Open'?

My guess it was their are some Open sites in Ireland or one of the other imperial republics? But I'm not aware of the exact reason.

I like Dan Hicks. I realize that Azinger is not well received, for some of his comments, humor.

Sounds like Hicks could be getting a new partner sometime in the near future? if the fans have any say.

Harman did what he needed to do. I like him, but I was hoping he'd come back to the field just a bit to make it more interesting.
He may come back to earth. Hope not. I will be pulling for him. He seems likable and is very much the underdog!

But I know what you mean. It is always funner to watch a major when it is close between 2-5 players.

According to the R&A it was always The Open and Americans started calling it The British Open. I guess to distinguish it from The US Open

Nothing like a little fog and rain in Liverpool. 62 degrees.

Who would've thunk it?
