Omaha/CB Cyclones: can anyone recommend someone to do affordable/quality siding?

I'd like to get a few names and everyone on here is usually very helpful. Last quote I got from a friend of a friend was $18k. I just laughed at the guy. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Avoid Sears siding. Just take four bids and go from there. Tell each you are taking multiple bids. Save money by going over the top and not ripping the old siding off.

The plan is to go over the top but one side is rotting so it needs to be replaced with plywood. I'm figuring around $8000 but not really sure.
