Welcome back to “On That Note,” CF’s go-to for musical listening and discussion, hosted by @MeanDean, @CycloneRulzzz and cyclones500.
This week, we explore songs that contain sound effects, with exception of weather-related effects (OTN covered that a while back).
To qualify as a sound effect for this segment, we accept any everyday sound/noise that is NOT produced by a common music instrument or human-emitted. (Random examples - breaking glass, dog bark, car-engine revving, and so on and on).
In rare instances, an effect may have been produced with an instrument or via studio manipulation, and could be allowed, but it must SOUND “authentic.” We trust your judgment for those.
Optional: Note summary of the effect (unless it's obvious) and what point in the song it occurs.
A couple to get us going, in "effect."
