Orlando Shooting

Shooter was 29 year old named Omar Mateen, he was born in the U.S. to parents who immigrated from Afghanistan. His dad thinks the shooting may have been motivated by him seeing two men kiss (the shooting took place at a gay club).

Wonder if this was related, LA police stopped a man with assault rifles and explosives near LA pride parade.

I was in both those areas at different times yesterday. Pretty crazy if he really had that intent. The west hollywood pride events are very heavily policed. Still a lot of people and very crowded but I'm guessing would not be the easiest target to avoid law enforcement.
