I am going to my first and only game in Norman with my son. My tickets just came in and I'm in row 68 of section 20. I paid extra for "lower" tickets. I don't know how many rows are in section 20, but this screams top of the end-zone.

Anyone else going and get their tickets yet?

I will be there, too. First and only time. Glad it is at night.... that heat would have been brutal during the day.

Row 68 looks like it'd be in the ISU allotment. There are other visitor seats in higher sections, so it's possible that sections 35 and 20 are considered "lower" while 226-228 and 233-235 are "upper."

According to this, it looks like the last row of the whole section 20 is labeled 72, so I would imagine 68 is right about the top of that endzone area. Seems like about as high as you get on the endlines, but if you follow the same row over to midfield, it is still below the 2nd and 3rd decks on the sidelines.

Yeah, they don't have an upperdeck in that endzone.

The game I went to there I was in sec 35 a few rows below the vom. At that time they were building that giant south endzone.

I think I’m in like row 65 or something in the visitors section. We’re probably in for a long night unfortunately

Edit: Row 64 Section 20

Honestly, I'm not looking forward to it... my wife's cousin is an OU alum and he invited me down.

I went to the games in Norman in 2017 and 2019. The 2017 game was the greatest ISU victory I've ever watched, and the 2019 game went down to the very down to the very end when we missed the winning 2 pt conversion.

Anyway, I've sat near the top in the end zone and way up high on the 3rd deck. Both seats were okay, but I guess I prefer the end zone (probably because we won that game).

Not exactly sure.
Went two years ago and sat in 49 or 50 in the top row. We have nice people next to us, and we are vocal people. If @Cycsk goes hit up his tailgate. He got sick or something two years ago or just told us the wrong lot on purpose but he will have a nice ISU group around him.

Went in 2019, sat upper deck sideline, probably section 29 or so based on the chart posted above. All the fans we encountered were cordial even though we had beat them recently. Still think we got screwed on the missed call at the end, but I digress.

Got COVID pretty bad two years ago. Sorry for not sharing! [jimlad]

Barry takes care of business for tailgates at road games with southern schools. I'm very tempted to go down to Baylor and take part in all their festivities.

Cheer up. I went two years ago, its was a pretty good time with friendly tailgates. Campus is pretty cool, OU fans like to talk football, enjoyed my conversations in the stadium. The district right near the stadium is a good time, they block it off and have a street party.

I assume they would have been jerks if we won, but that's most road games.
